We’re excited to officially introduce Sunflower Photo Booths, formerly known as Sunflower Dream Studio.
If you’ve celebrated with us before, don’t worry—you’re in the right place. Melanie and Richard are still here, and the heart of our business hasn’t changed.
But our business has.
Why the new name?
When we started Sunflower Dream Studio in 2024, we were experimenting with a lot of different ways to bring people together and make events more fun.
Over time, one part of the business kept growing: photo experiences.
Weddings. Corporate events. Fundraisers. School dances. Holiday parties. Big celebrations and intimate ones.
We found ourselves investing more and more into better cameras, professional lighting, printing, backdrops, new experiences and all the little details that turn taking a picture into something guests genuinely enjoy.
Eventually, the answer became pretty obvious.
We’re a photo booth company.
And we wanted our name to say that.
More than a new name
While Sunflower Photo Booths makes what we do easier to understand, we're not interested in being just a camera sitting in the corner of the room.
We create photo experiences worth keeping.
That might mean stepping into one of our photo booths and walking away with a beautiful 4×6 print.
It could mean adding a photo and handwritten note to a wedding guest book.
It could be turning your photo into a keychain wedding favor before the night is over.
Or maybe it's stepping in front of professional studio lighting for an editorial-style portrait that looks very different from what you'd expect from a traditional photo booth.
We also offer 360 experiences, roaming photography, branded corporate activations and other ways to bring photography into an event.
The experiences may be different, but the goal is always the same:
Give your guests something fun to do—and something worth taking home.
What happens to Sunflower Dream Studio?
Sunflower Dream Studio isn't becoming a different company.
It's becoming Sunflower Photo Booths.
If you previously booked with Sunflower Dream Studio, attended one of our events, left us a review or have an upcoming event on our calendar, nothing about that relationship changes.
Your booking is still with us. Your agreement is still valid. And Melanie and Richard aren't going anywhere.
We're simply putting the name on the business that better represents what Sunflower has become.
What's next?
Quite a bit, actually.
Along with our new name, we've launched a new website and have been refining the experiences we offer for weddings, corporate events and celebrations throughout the Greater Seattle and Tacoma area.
And we're not finished.
We have some ideas we're incredibly excited about—and we'll continue looking for new ways to create memorable experiences for the people who step in front of our cameras.
